Halo Mod for the PC Version shows what Mash-up Pack might look like
4J Studios have confirmed already that texture packs will be supported in TU12 which may not mean texture packs will be available right away but certainly are imminent. Now thought 4J studios has tweeted “still bug fixing TU12, making sure that Texture Packs and Mash-up Packs work properly” which got minecraft fans asking what is a Mash-up Pack? “A Mash-up Pack makes Minecraft look like another game, so Texture Pack + Skin Pack + User Interface + Music + Themed World” tweeted 4J Studios.
So we assume a Mash-up Pack could for example make your minecraft world look like Halo with Halo textures and skins with the wonderful Halo soundtrack and possibly Halo enemies etc. This sounds very interesting indeed and shows how the Xbox 360 version of Minecraft is moving away from the PC version.
4J Studios also posted that a screen shot from skin pack 5 will be revealed later today and once it does we will reveal it right here on XploreGaming.com.
